Regional Host Application

VCIC 2011 will consist of NINE equal regional events, seven in North America, one in Europe and one in Asia. Each event will occur on a Friday (one day only) and will include six competing schools, two entrepreneurs, and ten VC judges.

VCIC Headquarters will provide:  
  • The VCIC Organizer Checklist that walks organizers through the process of running a successful VCIC event
  • Digital templates for all handouts, signs, banners, presentations, etc.
  • Pre-event coordination assistance
  • A judge coordinator on-site during the event for first-time regional hosts
Regional Hosts are responsible for:
  • Reserving facilities: three class-rooms and six study rooms for one day
  • Recruiting ten VC judges and two presenting entrepreneurs
  • Funding event:
    • Prize money: $3,000
    • Food and supplies: $1,000 (minimum)
